word troubleshooting

I can't write in word keep getting message blocked for
editing, I had word on my computer , a message comes up
sayiny insert word cd disk What is my problem?

Have you activated your copy of Word? Check under the Help menu. If there is
a command there about "Activate" try it. If you have a version that doesn't
require activation there won't be such a command. If you have already
activated, it will tell you that. Otherwise, do you have a trial version?
