Word v. X quits after Mac OS X 10.2 upgrade

I can not get Word to launch after I upgraded to Mac OS X
10.2. I went into the Apple System Profiler to look at
the crash log for Word it said Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS
and under Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS(0X0001)at )
x02c7f3eb. How can I get Word to open and run again.-Jan
