Word vs Works Word Processor

Robbie

I have a PC lap top that came with Works installed but it
does not have Word, just Works Word Processor. I can
open docs sent to me in Word but will it can I modify
tables, etc. and send them back as Word docs?

With Works 7 for example, you can save the document as a Word document (file
save as). The filter saves using RTF format which is a universal format,
and does not offer the full functions of recent Word documents, but will
probably suffice for your needs.
