Word will not allow me to open documents saved.

I am not able to open important documents that are saved in MS Word
(10.6612.6714)SP3 version in WinXP.

I am able to save new documents but not open the existing ones.

Can anyone help me???

Disable the Office Plugin that comes with Symantec/Norton AntiVirus. See
