Word Will Not Open

I have a Gateway Desktop Computer I had the 2007 Microsoft Office Home &
Student Trial Version installed but it expired so I removed it from my
computer and installed Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 onto the computer.
Word opened the 1st time in the safe mode only. After that it will not open
at all. It just times.
Please help I am a novice....

Find either normal.dot or normal.dotx (or both if you find both) and rename
them as normal.bad and normal baf. Word will create a new normal.dotx as
soon as it is needed again.

I suspect you meant to type "Normal.dotm" since Word 2007 doesn't use a
Normal.dotx.
