Word Window is acting strange

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

Recently this problem is getting worse... but when ever I am in Word (sometimes Excel) the screen edges move odly and I can't grab the handles or move the application window and the text goes all over the place. I have to close Word down and re-open it to see my document again.

For example, the margin ruler will be in the center of my screen and the white 'paper' area will be over on the left of the screen and I can not select or edit text.

Are you running Leopard's Spaces feature? It has mostly been found
incompatible with Office 2008 but there have been some reports involving
2004 as well. Reportedly the recently released OS X 10.5.7 update resolves
the conflict. I'd suggest using the Combo Updater available here:

If that isn't the issue please provide exact update info for Office & OSX as
well as any additional details you can supply.
