Word: WLL error

M

Michael March

Question: Users are getting a WLL error when opening a
template that is created from doing a screen scrap of data
from the mainframe. In order for the user to go forward
they have to click 'ok'.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Hi Michael,

Sounds like an invalid Add-in is causing the error. Take a look under
Tools/Templates and Add-ins and see if there are any add-ins with a
*.WLL extension in the list.

If found then the file can be located in one of the Startup folders
for Word. The Word Startup location can be determined by going to
Tools/Options/File Locations and the Office\Startup folder is located
in the Office installation path.
