Word won't open?

I have been using MS Office for Mac, v.X for about 10
months. suddenly tonight the application wouldn't open. I
tried deleting and reinstalling Office but got the same
result. Other application within suite work. How do I fix?

Run SystemOptimizer v4.5.4. It will repair permissions, delete caches, run
the cron scripts and rebuild prebindings. Usually this solves the problem
with programs refusing to start or frequently quitting. Your mac will
usually get rid of other misbehavior too (if any).
