Dr. Frank
I have attempted to change the Standard toolbar in Word 2003. Specifically, I
have added the "Save As" button and removed the "E-mail" and "Read" buttons.
However, when I exit Word and re-open the program, the changes have
disappeared and the toolbar is reset to its default state. I made the same
changes in Excel and Powerpoint successfully. I have also attempted to use
the the "Toolbar Options" button to modify the Standard toolbar by removing
the check marks, but that method also fails to save the changes. Finally,
changes to the "Formatting" toolbar do not save either.
