Word won't stay open

Hi,

I've got Word 2000. If I open it I get the message "Internal Error: 2885
Please contact product support for assistance" and then word shuts down.
I've trying reinstalling office completely but to no avail.

I don't want to have to reinstall windows. Thanks for any help.

Yeh, I've tried all of that before. When it opens it appears to try to start
the microsoft installer thingy, then stops and says the error below. Bearing
in mind I've reinstalled Office completely, (as in unistalled then
installed) I'm lost for ideas.

More help would be great,

I can't find any reference to Internal Error 2885 in the Microsoft
Knowledge Base, but there is a reference to Internal Error 2889 which is
caused by the W32.Nimda.A worm. Are you sure about the error number?
