word wrap in form template with merged cells

Hi,

I've got a multi paged from that has areas of for text. Lines 1-15 are
merged together to allow the user to enter large amounts of text. Verified
the cells are word wrapped and merged. However, when the user gets to line
8, the remaining wording is cut off. I've read that the word wrap shouldn't
be used in a form but this one has to function both online and if printed so
the box has to be set up for handwritten users as well.

Is there a way to make this work?

My guess is that you are running into one of Excel's limits. Although a cell
can contain 32000 characters, only the first 1024 can be displayed in the
cell. There is no work around for this. You'll just have to redesign your
form and input strategy.
