word wrap in Project Center views?

Using PS2007.
Is it possible to create Project Center views that 'wrod wrap' long
text fields?
Our Execs are really keen on Project Center but they *must* have a
field called 'project description' which is short (5 lines) of text
that decribes the project......and this has to show in the view.
What we ar elokking for is an 'excel' metaphor where long text is
wrapped around and the individual line for a project gets deeper to
accomodate it.
Is this possible?
Has anyone managed it - or are we stuck with 'one line per
project'.........if so then we will have to look at some other
reporting tool which would be a big overhead for a simple formatting
requirement.

I am worried this is not possible

Just a suggestion you can export the Project Centre view to Excel and the
wrap the text as required. If it helps

Hi Al,
It's not possible. You have three choices;

1. Implement SRS to provide similiar reporting features but formatted to
your requirements.
2. Use another field to house a shortened description.
3. Hover over the field an the text will be displayed

SRS is SQL Reporting Services. It comes as part of SQL 2000/2005, and allows
developers to create more formalised reports which can pull data in from
various sources, eg the project database. Obviously the layout and format is
defined by the developer.
