Word X: Bottom half of page is cut off in printout

I have a problem, I'm using a HP DeskJet 812C (discontinued product).
I try to print a regular text document in Word X. The printout only
displays half of the top lines. Can someone tell me what's going on? I
cannot print any document fully. Btw, I am using a Mac OS X 10.3
Panther.
