Spell checking consistently crashes whenever I have a document with a page
number!!
I get a message that says Word could not check text set to No Proofing and
a dialog box that only has an OK. click the OK and Word crashes!
Even if I follow the suggestion in the dialog box and reset the text from No
Proofing to u.s. english (I never set it to No Proofing in the first place), spell
checking still results in a complete crash.
This Word v.X on the Mac. 10.1.5. It started, I believe, when I upgraded to
10.1.2. When I upgraded to 10.1.5, it still happened. Finally, I started from
scratch. Uninstalled everything Word/Office related and reinstalled the
entire package. Same thing! Made no difference. And it's persisted from
OS X 10 through 10.3.4 Panther, the lastest. Help!
