Hello,
I just know the behavior of word XP:
when you embed a TIF or JEPEG photo with an e.g. AdobeRGB profile into Word
it always gets converted to sRGB during the process of printing to a
Postscript file (*.prn).

Does Word 2007 show this bad habit too?

Thank you

"Bad habit"? Well, I would tend to think so but I'm not as sure that I'd
define it as such :) Most any program which isn't a graphics editor has no
idea what a Color Profile is... Most don't even have any concept of a Color
Mode, let alone a Color Profile. IOW, they treat any embedded image as sRGB
because that's all they understand. I don't know this to be a fact, but I've
always accepted it as a universal truth.

You might try using Linked images rather than embedded so that the image
file itself is actually read by the device when you print rather than simply
having the embedded data passed along. If that isn't satisfactory it might
be better to consider using a program such as InDesign rather than Word.
