Word XP and hyperlinks

I have set 3 hyperlinks in a Word XP document. I saved it
as a template and locked the document. I want the users
only to fill in the drop down boxes. But since the
document is locked, the hyperlink does not work. It only
works when I unlock the document, something I do not want
to do. Is the a fix for this?
