Word XP and Windows 2000 Conflict

We have several new Dell computers running Win2000 and
Office XP. Word locks up from time to time on all units. A
restart doesn't usually help. Are there any known
conflicts between Office XP and Win2000?

For those interested, The error was an app Dell intalls on
the computer called Hydravision, which conflicted with the
dual monitor video card. Why it affected Word???
