Hi there,

I have a P4 notebook with 192 MB Ram running XP Home and Office XP SP2.
Normally opening a document works just fine but I have one document which
takes a long time opening.
The file is not abnormally big (100kb). It has nothing to do with the
virusscanner and when I watch processes in the taskmanager while opening the
document the system is almost 100% idle. When opening the document on
another computer running W2K SP4 and Office 2000 SP3 it just runs fine. Can
anyone provide me a solution?

Thanks in advance,
Dennis

Possibly the document is looking for its template - which it cannot find on
your computer but does on the other computer.
