Word XP Uninstall

I'm running Office XP Standard on my workstation. After running a disk
defrag, Word now freezes up and crashes after about 5 seconds. I have tried
uninstalling office and re-installing but the same error occurs. Are there
other registry entries or files I could delete to try to fix this problem?

Thanks for the response, I'll keep that URL in mind. I ended up re-formating
and ghosting the drive from an image when I found that, whatever the error
was, it affected the Wordpad application as well.
