Word XP will not send .htm page

I have a word doc saved as a web page. I am reting to
send the page by email. I get the following error: "Word
could not load the e-mail envelope. the could be caused by
a network connection problem or a problem with you office
installation."

I have Outlook as mail default. I verified that netwrok
connection is good. I can send as a link, but not as just
the page.

Any suggestions?
