I have just tried to load Word and it has locked up my
computer. I have had to pull the plug as nothing else
would work. I thought it might have been an isolated
incident but it happens every time I try to open it or any
docunent I have written in it. Any ideas????????

Did you get any answers? I have been using word with no

problems since I got the PC a couple of years ago (Windows
ME), but today it started freezing every time I try to
open Word, or any Word document. I've had to do a hard
shutdown. I recently did a defragmentation of my C drive,
and I suspect that may have initiated the problem.

Frustrating!
