I have recieved an email in word but instead of letters it is all in
characters such as ;;'']]-##. I am desperate to read it. please help.

If you don't have Word on your computer, you can try opening the email
attachment in Wordpad, or you can download and install the free Word viewer
from http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=165908 and use it to open the email
attachment.
