Word'00 opens automatically recovered documents

Everytime I open Word the first time it also opens
recovered documents, well, envelopes that I have print
like the day before. I can't figure out how to get it to
stop doing that 'cause it slows down the speed of loading
word...I am impatient. Any suggestions?

No it didn't crash and I don't think they are the same.
Yesterday I deleted the recovered files out of the tempt
file and today there is a new one.

Strange.

Are you on a network?

Does this occur only when you restart your computer?

Are you able to exit Word and restart without AutoRecovery?
