Word2000 crashes out

I have a problem with some Windows XP PC's running Office2000, NAV Corp Edt
v8.1 and Novell Client v4.9. When you open up Word from a network drive and
try a Save As to another network drive Word will crash and the PC will
restart. When we try the same action on PC's with the same set-up but
running Office 97 this doesn't happen!!

Obviously linked to Office 2000 somehow but am a bit stuck!!
