Word2000 doesn't link EPS files properly anymore (SR3 bug?)

Hi,

I normally link graphics as EPS files into word documents,
but for some unknown reason this doesn't work anymore.
Word shows this weird behaviour since some 'windows update'
or 'office update'.

Word now always wants to 'convert' the EPS files, instead
of just linking them and showing the embedded preview.

Also, the linked files are not displayed properly anymore
if I open an old file and update the fields.

Thanks for your help

Pascal

I do definitely want to link the EPS files as they are
since this is the best method to print them exactly as they
are and also to be able to modify them externally.

Hi Pascal,

In what way are the EPS files not displayed correctly?

If you're using Norton Antivirus be sure to update
it and to turn off the OfficeAV Plugin.

What version of Windows are you using?

Are there any 2002 or 2003 series Office apps
installed on your PC?

What is the date, version, size and location of the
EPSIMP32.FLT file(s) on your PC?

Have you run a repair of Word/Office 2000?
