Word2003 Open Error

I recently upgraded to Word2003.

I am attempting to open a file from a UNC path to a
Netware server using nwlink.

The file was created with the "Recomend opening in Read-
Only Mode" option.

When opending I am prompted to open in read-only or write
mode..if I choose write mode everything is fine; if I
choose READ-ONLY I get the error:

Word cannot open the document: user does not have access
privleges (\\SERVER\SHARE\...\FILE.doc).

Any hints?

Go to Tools > Options > Save (tab), check to see if Read Only (Recommende)
is checked, uncheck it.
