Word2007 - Date selector field not working correct

I am constructing a template for which I have inserted - amongst others - a
Date selector field (I have a danish version, do not know the english word).
The field works well, no problem. But...
I then also need to have a Time selector field and I use the same type as
mentioned above but formatted as time. This is accepted but when I try to use
the drop down to select a time, it displays the calendar to select a date
from. And when reverting to the properties for the field my selected
time-formatting is gone, the field is "reset" as a date selector field again.
Does anybody have any exxperience with this?

I just tried to do things another way: Inserting a text-field formatted as
Time (HH:mm). This setup was accepted but when I tried to use my template,
the field was constantly displaying the time for opening the document and
could not be changed. (I run the template protected with formulas editable).
When I re-opened the template, the field was changed from Time to Date of
today, but the format-string was still HH:mm.
Is this a weird bug or what am I seeing here?
