word2k/outlook vba script

I have a script which deposits a merged doc into a folder
on a named server using samba. I need vba script to mail
this doc via outlook. This report is to be mailed to a
single address and is automatically produced, via the
cron, weekly. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Doug, sorry did not explain fully, a merge template is
activated when samba places the datasource records from
server A in a text file on server B the automated merge
process then incorporates the data into a finished report
is saved to a named folder on server B. It is this report
which needs to be picked up by outlook and emailed. The
report naming convention is - aaaaaddhhmmss where aaaaa is
report id and does not vary. Hope you can point me in the
right direction for a solution, thanks.
