WordArt Fonts in Office 2001

I have Office 2001 for Mac. I am unable to access all the
fonts in my System, Fonts folder when I use WordArt. The
fonts list in WordArt goes only through the letter F (it
is alphabetical). I cannot access any fonts beyond that
for use in Word Art.
Note, I can access ALL my fonts in all other programs, and
even in all Office programs, such as when using Word.
I used to be able to access ALL my fonts when using
WordArt. This problem started about the first time I went
to use it after installing a number of new fonts in my
Fonts folder in the System folder. But like I said, I have
no problem accessing all my fonts in any program but
WordArt.
Nothing I have done solves the problem. I have tried
uninstalling and reinstalling Office 2001, including the
Office extensions and preferences. I have tried trashing
several of the fonts immediately following and immediately
preceding the point in the list where WordArt stops access
my fonts. I changed my two extensions in my Extensions
folder that indicated they had anything to do with fonts
(fontsync and something else).
I have a lot of fonts -- will have to count them up -- but
do not think it is beyond the 512-limit I just saw for the
limit in my Mac OS 9.1. Besides, the fonts are all
accessible in all other rogram -- the only problem is in
WordArt.
Can anyone tell me what the problem is, how to solve it?
Does WordArt perhaps have a font limit well below the font
limit of OS 9.1 and below the font limit that perhaps is
available for Word and the rest of the Office suite and
for my other applications?
What gives?
