WordCount crashes Word 2002

I am working with a custom document template and every time
I use WordCount it crashes Word. If I use WordCount in a
document based on Normal.dot there is no problem. I built
the template from scratch in Word2002 but borrowed a few
paragraph styles from a template created in Word97, in case
that might have any bearing. It also contains a few
unusual fonts. Otherwise the template is very
straightforward. Does anyone have any ideas why WordCount
is causing the custom template to crash?

I answered my own question but will post the reply in case
anyone else has this problem. Word Count will crash Word
2002 under the following conditions:
-Compatibility Option set for "Do Full Justification like
WordPerfect 6.x for Windows"
-Paragraph (either style or direct) formatted with
justification and a hanging indent
-Paragraph formatting applied to a cell in a table column
that is narrower than the width set in the hanging indent
-Said table cell contains no text

When all of these obscure conditions are met and you then
run Word Count, Word2002 will crash.
