Spmetimes, on some of my forms and in the documents that we produce via
SupeEasyWordMerge, there is some optional content.
Here is one example:
We move stuff, and some customers need storage for a while, in which case
the charge for this is entered in a field on our quote form and is merged
onto the quote letter, with a few lines of text describing this service.
At present we have the text permanently set in the template, and if storage
does NOT apply, the users have to delete it.
Is there any way we can automate this, so that either:
(a) the template would not contain anything to do with this and the text and
the charge would ONLY be placed in the letter if the charges field on the
form is not null
or
(b) the template would have the text and mergefield in it, but if the charge
field on the form is null, all this would be deleted upon the merge taking
place.
Can either of these be achieved by Machine, or does Man still have a part to
play (i.e. manual editing)?
Many thanks
