Wordpad cannot insert object

I was trying to embed .mkv file which has 31 Megabytes size by

[Insert Object] -> [Create from File] -> [Browse]


I pick the .mkv file, save the, close it,
then I just realized the .mkv object does not exist there
well, I've tried to embed 5 Megabytes mp3 files, and rtf works fine but not
for .mkv, may I know what's the problem ?

Wordpad is not part of Office. It comes with Windows.
