Wordperfect documents can't be opened in word.

Confused cookie

Wordperfect documents sent via e-mail cannot be opened up in Word. What can I
do?

What version of WordPerfect? What version of Word do you have? Recent
versions of Word come with text converters for WordPerfect 5.x and 6.x, but
they might not be installed automatically. If you click on File | Open, are
"WordPerfect 5.x for DOS" and "WordPerfect 6.x for Windows" available as
choices in the "Files of type" dropdown menu? If not, install the converters
from your Word/Office CD.
