WordX 10.1.4 crashes in Panther

I have installed Mac OS 10.3 (Panther), but Word (and Excel) crash on
loading! Can anyone tell me what I need to do to correct this, please?

Hi Macbum,

Update Office to 10.1.5 and repair disk permissions: Go to Macintosh
HD/Applications/Utilities. Open up Disk Utility. Select your hard disk,
then click the First Aid tab. Click the button to "Repair Disk
Permissions".
