work and baseline work total varies

I have a task (Development) that has many tasks (e.g. module 1, module 2,
module 3). the values of the task are basically summarised values of all sub
tasks.

the "Baseline Work" and "Work" values for all subtasks are exactly the same.
but these the values of these 2 fields for the task (Development) are
different.

Is there anything I could have done wrong?

I think I should post this thread in General Questions area.... but I am not
seem able to move this thread over.

anyway, I did some calculation, found that the "Work" values are consistant
in both the task and sub tasks. The problem is that after I changed the
values of some sub-tasks' "Baseline Work" fields, the "Baseline Work" field
of the task didn't update accordingly.

Is this a bug or there is a way I can update the task's "Baseline Work"
value accordingly?

oops, problem solved.
just found out that the Baseline values for the Task are editable.....
thanks for reading :)
