Hello,
I've been using MS Outlook as my CRM app. It has worked beautifully
for me but we are growing as a company and I need to be able to share
my Contacts, Tasks, etc. with the new folks.
We are looking at a few Hosted solutions on the Web (4Team, etc.) but
the only file format that they will take is .CSV.
Here's the problem: When I export my Outlook Contacts to a .CSV file
the "notes field" is either truncated drastically or doesn't show the
information at all.
After much research I've discovered that .CSV's truncate "notes fields"
to 255 Characters (is this correct).
I have over 1,400 Outlook Contacts, with many pages of text in each
"Note Field". All of this information is valuable and I can't lose it
once we shift over to the Web.
Is there ANY possible work-around for this situation?
Thank you very much,
~Keith
