%Work Complete and Timesheet for PWA

I originally posted this question in the microsoft.public.project discussion
group not knowing that this group deals strictly with Project Professional.
Please look at the reply to Mike, below to see if anyone in this group might
have more information on the topic. Another subject to look at, is, can we
modify the columns in the timesheet for View My Tasks screen to show
different colors, change font, or add macros?

Mike,

This works great in MS Project Pro, but can this be done to reflect in PWA,
where users can update their individual tasks this way from the View my Tasks
screen?

Hi ,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

You can do this with a customised toolbar and macros. Start with
View/Tables/Work or create a view showing the %Work Complete column.
You'll then need to record a macro putting (say) 25 in that column. You can
then edit and rename the macro for each of 0, 50,75,100%, ending up with 5
macros. You can then create a new toolbar and drag these macros onto it.
Then you could change the tool buttons to reflect the %ages. Full details
on this can be found in my series on Microsoft Project in the TechTrax
ezine, particularly #16 on Macros, at this site: http://tinyurl.com/2xbhc
or this:

(Perhaps you'd care to rate the article before leaving the site, :)
Thanks.)
