Work in seconds

P

Perl

Hello,

I have Project 2003 Pro.
In the Resource usage view, at the right side, only at the summary, I get
work at seconds....

How can I fixed it ?
I want to see days.

Hi,

You must have a very special version of Project, it normally doesn't know
seconds, minutes are the smallest unit :)

Serious now, go to Tools, Options, Schedule, and select Work is entered
in... Days.

Hi P,

How do you know that the Work is shown in seconds? As Jan said, Project
doesn't display seconds - minutes is the smallest time unit used.

Hi Mike,

I'm a MS-Project Expert. I teach MS-Project almost 10 years. So I know the
basic... and the advanced features.

So, to change the work unit to days, its the first thing I did, IT DOESN'T
WORK. I Swear :)

This is the first time that I see that problem. if you want, I can send you
the screenshot.

Thanks

Pardon me for bumping in here Perl. But, if I understand you correctly
you are seeing work in seconds in the timescaled (right side) of the
Resource Usage view at the Resource line? What is your timescale set
to? Even setting the minor scale to 1 minute, you cannot not show a
work unit of less than 1 minute. I suspect corruption in the project
file.

Is it just the number of work units per time unit showing on the
resource line that makes you think it is showing seconds?

By all means, zip the project file and send it to me. My email address
is prjng [at] maine [dot] rr [dot] com. I'll take a look at see if I
can spot what is going on.

Hi Perl,

I believe you! But you haven't answered my question - how do you know the
Work is showing in seconds? Which view and where does it say "seconds"?
