"Work Tracker" functionality on PWA

The Microsoft Project Server 2007 Planning and Architecture documentation and
worksheets refer to "Work Tracker" functionality, but it's not something I've
come across elsewhere.

Does anyone have additional information on what the documentation might be
referring to?

I have this same question. When researching the use of My Personal Projects
category, ran into documentation that stated it was used for resources who
managed Work Tracker projects. I have no idea what this is.
