Work value used is invalid

I am trying to run the resource plan within a Proposal, based on the project
plan using generic resources, and I am getting the following error:

General error: Work value used is invalid. (Use this error information along
with other errors to find out the cause of the problem.)

I attempted to change the work value, but it is disabled, even though I am
an administrator.

What should I be doing to correct this?

I will tell you I am getting the same error, but mine is only when i try to
assign work in a resource plan to a "team assignment pool" resource. It's
driving me crazy, as this was the goal of setting up teams in the first place
for us.

Question, What field is "work value" exactly, only place I saw a value that
related was on the Resource screen, but I think that was work type?
I look forward to a suggested solution.
