Workaround for Column Naming issue?

A database that my company has contains a column heading in the following
format: this doesn't.work.for.me

I am trying to pull the data into Access, but Access states this is an
invalid name. Is there a way to work around this? I don't need the
information in the column, which is the frustrating part.

a database your company has... in what program or format? If you don't
need that data, delete it before you import. Or, change the name.

You will have to give us much more detail if you want help.

Never mind, think I found it, found it when connecting to server has option
to Replace "." in Name
