Workbook Numbering

In Excel XP, I have multiple worksheets in a workbook.
In the footer for each worksheet I am trying to insert the page number
regarding the total number of pages in the entire workbook (i.e. Page
10 of 25).
I group all the sheets together yet for each sheet, the page number is
just listed as page 1 or 2 for that sheet.

Can anyone help?
Thanks.

You need to print the sheets as a group. So select all of the sheets and then print

Select all worksheets you want to print.

File>Page Setup>Header/Footer.

Click on drop-down dialog box for Footer(not Custom, although you could do it
there also).

Select Page 1 of ?

Go back to Page tab and enter the number 10 in "First Page Number".

Do a Print Preview and you should have "Page 10 of XX" where XX is total
pages.

I'd like to insert worksheet numbers, as well, however, the answer below doesn't help me out. I can't group my worksheets to print because they are charts. In order for them to print correctly, I have to print each one individually because I have to click on the chart before it will print correctly. Is there anyway that you can do a footer that says Chart X of Y. Where X is the worksheet and Y is the total number of worksheets....without grouping them together to print. That way I could print the 3rd worksheet, and it woud say Chart 3 of 7, or I could print the 6th one, and it would have Chart 6 of 7, etc. Each worksheet is only one page
