Hello,
I have database with approximately 31 tables, with the largest table having
about 18,000 records. The BE is in a shared network drive and each of the
three users have their own interface on their local drive.
This database has been working well for about 6 years, but now that it's
getting bigger it's slow (it's about 84MB in size right now). I am not a
programmer but have (as best I can) gone through the various suggestions on
this list and related sites to reduce all the variables that might slow it
down.
Would moving the BE to a Sharepoint site, and having each user work locally
and then synchronizing through Sharepoint at the end of the day be a
reasonable solution to the speed problem?
Thanks very much.
