Working offline / Saving online

Using MSP2003ent. After saving a project (offline) is it saved as a file,
where does Project save the file? Also what would be the best way to work
on a enterprise project offline and on a different P/C? What I mean is how
can I work on an ENTProj using my home p/c but not connected to the Company
server?

In 2003 plans are saved offline in a hashed system file and can not be copied
to other PC's. FOr this functionality you need Project Server/Pro 2007.

Hi,
EPM2003, Project Prof 2003 will save the offline saved file under
userprofile in the directory Application Data\Microsoft\MS Project\GUID of
the profile to connect to Project Server
As you can see this is very dynamic depending on the user and depending on
the profile the user is using to connect to the server.
However once the file is here you can move it to different locations no
problem. However you must use Proj Prof 2003 in a disconnected mode with the
same profile in order to open the file.
To allow Project Prof to sync the file again with the server, it has to be
on it's original place.
Tip to find back which profile you are using check the registry
HKCU\software\Microsoft\office\MS Project\profiles, you see the name of your
profile as a key, and inside the key you' ll find the GUID.
