Working on chart with boxes/arrows and can't delete arrow head

[New to Office 2007]

I am working on a chart with text boxes and arrows and double elbow
connectors. Somehow the head of an arrow is imbedded in my document. I
can't highlight the arrow head, nor delete it whether or not it is within the
box, outside the box, inside or outside the drawing canvas. Any ideas?

If the object is now "behind" the text level you can use the Select Objects
icon from the Drawing Toolbar. Click this and you should be able to select
the object.
This instruction is for 2003 and prior, 2007 may differ slightly.
