Working on projects off line

[Traveling PM]

Our organization has a bunch of PMs that travel. We use
MS Project 2002 with Server. Is there an easy way to work
off line (i.e. on the plane). Right now we have to save
the current project to our laptops, do the updates on the
laptop, then delete the project currently saved on the
server. Obviously we're not using tasking, or each
resource would get pelted with updates.
