Working or Not Working?

I have MS Server 2000 with FrontPage Server Extensions 2002 installed.
I have multiple websites installed on this server.
FPE work on some websites but not on others.

According to everything I can find, the extensions are correctly installed
but they will not work on a newly installed website.
Uninstalling and reinstalling does not work.
Restarting the IIS does not work.

I can't think of anything else.

What steps do you use to install the FPSE's? Have you tried just opening
FrontPage and creating a new empty web?

Do you need to install the server extensions on a server more than once?
They are working on other websites on the same server.

I created a new web using the tools in the IIS manager.
That didn't work either.

I'm completely dumbfounded.

When you created the new web in IIS did you make it a "server extensions web."

In IIS in Computer Management right click the new web and scroll to All Tasks and see if an option there to apply server
extensions.

I got the page working by installing a component, in this case a
form and a counter, removing the server extensions, re-applying the
server extensions, and then recalculating the web.
Now the problem is that every time I modify any part of the page
I have to recalculate the web, or it stops working.

Also, even though the form works, and send the info to the
correct place, the user gets an error when the form is submitted.

I should take up knitting.
