Working Time

Hello Fred,

As you have discovered, the working time cannot span over midnight, so
you'll need to divide the hours up over the midnight span.

So, assuming the working week runs 7:00 am Monday to 7:00 am on Saturday
and you are using Project 2003 or earlier:

Select all Mondays in the calendar by clicking the "M" at the top of the
calendar displayed in the Change Working Time dialog box:
In the first row:
From: 7:00 PM To: 12:00 AM

Then Select Tuesday through Friday by clicking the column headings T
through F
In the first row:
From: 12:00 am To: 7:00 AM

Second Row:
From: 7:00 pm To: 12:00 AM

I've not included time off for dinner breaks, so you would want to
include those. Take a look at the "Night Shift" calendar included with
Project to see an example of an overnight shift including breaks.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
