AM/PM Schedules

Hi- I am using project to schedule a industrial plant outage. We will be
running for 24 hrs in two 12 hour shifts (7am-7pm/7pm-7am). Is there a way to
seperate the tasks that will occur in the AM shift from those that will occur
in the PM shift? I was not sure if there is a way to set up the calender this
way or to chart it in the Gnatt Charts AM/PM.- Please Help.

Hi Rachael

If your tasks do not spill over from one shift to another and are specific
for each shift, then you should create two calendars: One 7 AM to 7 pm and
second 7PM to 7AM.

The calendar which would be used by the maximum activities could be assigned
as the project calendar through Project > Project information. To those
activities which require another calendar assign other calendar through Task
information box > Advanced tab.
