Working times - Project Calendar

How can I set up a calendar for a 4 days on 4 days off roster as the days
worked are different each week? eg Monday to Thursday then the next week is
Tuesday to Friday without editing every day of the year

Alas, that's the only way to do it. Do you really need to schedule to that
level of refinement?

Yes unfortunately as this is the roster used by the majority of staff at our
facility and project is our main planning/forecasting tool and we operate 24
hours so I need this set up to accurately plan work capabilities, so there
are no alternatives?

Not without VBA for which you need programming knowledge.
